Product Newsletters are a great way to keep the wider organization informed. As the name suggests, they're often internal newsletters that broadcast what's been happing in the product org.
Typically sent no more frequently than once a month, Product Newsletters are a great format as you can include images, gif and videos. It's also a great way to include additional information such as customer interviews, discovery work, early prototypes, etc. This helps with transparency and is a great way to communicate changes in the product across the organization.
You can also do Product Newsletter externally to customers, partners, etc. however most orgnizations I've seen use it primarily as a internal communication tool.
The below is a Product Newsletter template that I've used at several companies now. Feel free to adapt it to your context.
